Michael Jackson phone surfaces – luxcellphone

The Michael Jackson Theme had been released for BlackBerry Bold 9000, and now a new limited edition Michael Jackson phone is being made available in China. A flashly new phone honoring the King of Pop has been manufactured by the King of Crap – some shanzai company in China

This bling-bedecked mobile is encrusted with faux diamonds and comes with a most probably pirated Michael Jackson live performance DVD. Some of the main features, according to the only available pictures, are “High-definition Camera”, “Ebook”, and “Calling leave word”. While there is no word on pricing just yet, the whole package is very exclusive with a limited quantity in existence.

Everybody wants to cash in on the King of Pop’s death, so we aren’t surprised to see this Michael Jackson phone appear in China. In a Gold color of course. We are talking the king of pop here.

I’m sure Michael Jackson would actually like the over-the-top design of this Chinese cell, it’s cashing in on the dead he might have a problem with.

This limited edit Michael Jackson Phone is apparently a replica of a Vertu, plated with gold and studded with plastic diamonds (gold and fake diamonds, a deadly combo). Technical specifications and prices aren’t yet available, but if you don’t live in China, you’ll probably never hold one of this babies in your hand. We do know it comes together with a Michael Jackson live performance DVD and has an impressive number of Michael Jackson ringtones.

Sure it looks kinda fugly, but if you’re a big MJ fan, you might want to buy this to go with your other memorabilia. The outside appears to be actually dressed like MJ. The phone comes with a Michael Jackson live-performance DVD which is probably a bootleg, and is decked out in plastic diamonds.

Since Michael Jackson has gone, we had seen many merchandise associate with Michael Jackson on the market. We got his CDs, key chains, t-shirt and etc…but this MJ’s mobile phone, is the weirdest we ever seen.

Apparently the phone was made by China’s underground mobile phone maker, and of course it is not licensed.

For me, the phone is very ugly, It is kind of humiliation to the King Of pop. I wonder the phone even not coated with the real gold, it just Gold color. However, we must say the UI is pretty creative, because there is MJ’s face on the background of the UI. I wonder why the big phone maker come out his idea? I am sure this a big market, considering there are millions of MJ’s fans around the world.

The vertu phone is probably the most recognized collection. Whilst cheaper than the others it offers an impressive design with incredible features. Perhaps the most notable is the Yamaha audio system, better than any other in the market & capable of a staggering 100dB clear sound.

No doubt your beginning to understand that Vertu don’t just offer the best designs and the best materials but also the best technology. In fact, to align themselves with the watch market Vertu try not include any features that are likely to be outdated so as to extend the product life. They are famously quoted as saying ‘when they make one good enough we’ll use it’ in response to a question on why none of their phones have cameras.

To emphasize the luxurious image of the Vertu brand they teamed up with F1 motor sports and created a limited edition series of Assents. Each had a racetrack etched into the back of the phone and racing grade rubber used instead of the leather. There were only a thousand of these produced and all had an individual number to identify them. MONZA?

So has this company been a success? Well, it would be a lie to say they haven’t struggled. Entering the niche was a challenge as they were in essence creating a new market. At first consumers were pessimistic of the fusion between luxury cell phones and technology in an industry where upgrades are an annual norm. But Vertu’s build quality and pinpoint marketing has come through; unit sales are on the increase and emerging markets in India and Russia leave plenty of room for expansion.

In fact the proof of Vertu’s success can be seen in the development of its competition. Whilst Assents start at around ?2,500 and Signatures rise to about ?30,000 these appear to walk hand in hand with the Ferrari owners of the world.

Now, however, a company has appeared that’s priced its range alongside the super cars. Goldvish’ offer Swiss-made phones for ?100,000. Not to mention their limited edition ‘le million’ which sold for EUR1, 000, 000? Each phone has a minimum of 150grams of gold and is encrusted with numerous diamonds. If were honest the ‘bling’ phones are not attractive, but are a blatant symbol of having so much money you don’t know what to do with it.

Can someone tell me about Bob Marley, please?

Not to offend anyone, but for years I’ve seen a ton of Bob Marley t-shirts, memorabilia, posters, etc. I live in Indiana and none of the stores here have even 1/8th of Michael Jackson stuff compared to the products of Bob Marley stuff. It’s everywhere. I read a brief article that he sang political songs, he was a member of the Jamaican group, Wailers. I grew up loving (and still do) the Bee Gees and Michael Jackson, and never heard of Mr. Marely as a teen, when music influences our tastes for some years, even decades. Was Bob Marley just not in the mainstream? What is it about him and/or his music that made him so apparently popular? Please understand, I love pop music, but I am willing to hear people’s advice about what I should listen to first if I become interested.

He was pretty much a pioneer of reggae music. He helped bring reggae to the ears of millions of people – who, like you, would probably never be exposed. His songs were uplifting and positive – and meant to be for all people. He had great energy and stage presence… Also, because he smoked marijuana (he was a Rastafarian). He’s become sort of a poster child for that – anti establishment. Also, he died “before his time” which always makes people more popular. You should definitely check out a “best of” album. For me, there’s nothing Not to like. Plus, I believe the more people expose themselves to cultures different then their own, the more intelligent they become. You have nothing to lose!
