Just a little behind schedule
BoneyJellyfish - 5/05/2006

Unfortunately, I really overestimated the amount of free time that I would have to dedicate to subtitling Spiderman 1978, so I've only finished roughly half of it so far. Episode 2 will be out soon enough, however, so don't worry. It will come. Oh yes, it will come.

Update:
Translations are done! It should be out this weekend.

Even more news!
BoneyJellyfish - 4/11/2006

As of yesterday evening, I have begun work on Spiderman 1978 - Episode 2. The episode should be out in roughly two weeks (seeing as I still have a couple of final exams to finish before I can begin allocating massive amounts of time to the episode), but that's not all! I'm also in the middle of talks with another group that may actually provide me with DVD quality episodes of Spiderman, since the DVDs were just released this past December.

If I can manage to get the episodes, then I will most definitely re-release episode 1 with a higher quality and I will review the subtitles as well. The most important thing I will do, provided that I do indeed receive DVDs, is create a number of notes at the beginning that explain the numerous in-jokes associated with Love Love in the first episode. Although Spiderman 1978 has gained the status of internet memedom to some extent, my fansubs of Love Love are still somewhat unknown, so it would probably be best for me to explain what I can before diving into the rest of the series.

Of coures, if I can't get better quality episodes, then screw those guys. These episodes are for my fans.

Oh, and finally, the same group that I may be getting the DVDs from originally offered to help me subtitle it for real. They eventually, however, dropped the offer. Somehow, I'm not really sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing...

Spiderman's Return
BoneyJellyfish - 3/21/2006

After putting a lot of thought into the subject, I've made the decision to introduce the world to more episodes of 1978 Japanese Spiderman. I'm going to release the second episode some time in mid-April, so get ready to be blown away!

It's about time...
BoneyJellyfish - 1/19/2006

The 1978 version of japanese Spiderman that I released a long, long time ago has finally gained some popularity in the internet community, to the point where it's even being posted on GameSpy. Some people have asked for a reseed of the episode (which is filled with innumerable inside jokes about Love Love, by the way), and I am happy to say that today is the day Spiderman gets its reseed.

As with everything else, the episode is available for download on my tracker. It's also available as an embedded flash movie on a multitude of websites (such as youtube and monkeyfilter), but the only way to get the actual original AVI file of the episode is by downloading it over bittorrent.

Also, at some point in the future I may reseed the Big O OST that I released a really, really long time ago.

By popular demand...
BoneyJellyfish - 1/03/2006

Since a lot of people seem to be wanting it (or, at least, judging from the numerous e-mails I've received on the subject), I'm now seeding the soundtracks from the entire Cosmopolitan Prayers trilogy. That includes Cosprayers, Smash Hit!, and Love Love.

You can download the OSTs by going over to my tracker.

Enjoy! The OSTs were originally hosted by a group known as MST (whatever that stands for) a long, long time ago, but to my knowledge they aren't distributing them anymore.

Oh, and apparently a small group known as Hell Fansubs started subbing Love Love despite the fact that everyone knows a horrible curse surrounds the series. As expected, just a couple of days following their release of episode 2, Hell Fansubs is currently searching for a new translator.

Likewise, in case anyone is curious, Anime-Destiny seems to have collapsed from the awesome force that is Love Love. Their page is down, they haven't released anything in ages, and I have a sneaking suspicion that their IRC channel is inactive, although unfortunately I can't access IRC from where I am so I can't be sure.

O' Love Love, when will your reign of terror finally come to an end?

One last thing: Happy New Year everyone!

I posted a review. The first of many to come this fall!

Shinsen-Subs and Duo
BoneyJellyfish - 8/26/2005

Today Shinsen-Subs released the first, second, and third episodes of Legend of Duo.

*begin paranoia*

I bet there's someone in that group that's out to get me... trying to stop me from parody subbing at any cost. They tried and failed with Love Love, but they found another opportunity with Legend of Duo. I mean, why else would they start subbing a show that's over a year old and absolutely horrible? When will these people ever stop?!

*end paranoia*

Seriously, though, it looks like Legend of Duo was a pretty secret operation over there, as even the guy that does their webpage never even heard of it. He said, and I quote, "I haven't seen this one myself yet but the description says something about vampires and secrets and stuff. Can't be all bad "

My favorite quote from the website, however, has to be this one: "well i have a saying if shinsen subs it must be good so guess here is another seris ill pick up" And I thought everyone knew that if I picked it up, it was the worst series ever created by mankind?

Well, whatever they do, I don't really care. Unlike Love Love, I decided to parody sub this series because it is just plain BETTER like that. I'm not going to be stopping.

By the way, the new Anime Destiny website is unsafe for human consumption.

A stunning new project
BoneyJellyfish - 7/30/2005

Wooooo! Now that I'm all done reseeding Love Love, I'm at last free to announce my amazing new super-duper-hyper-amazing fansub project: Legend of Duo. This anime series, aired way back in fall of 2004, is so mind-numbingly bad that no fansub groups in the past have even *considered* subtitling it—until now!

Like Love Love, the episodes are fairly short: five minutes apiece, making them quick and, unfortunately, still overwhelmingly painful.

Well, here's the first episode. Enjoy!

(Note: This series *is* going to be parody subbed, but I was as serious as possible for the first episode, and even enlisted the help of a translator.)

New tracker up
BoneyJellyfish - 7/28/2005

I've migrated over to a new tracker, and I'll slowly be reseeding all of my Love Love releases over the next few days. When I'm all done reseeding, I'll release my brand new s00per s3krit anime.

Well, let's get this started. Here are the new torrents:

Episodes 1-4
Episodes 5-8
Episodes 8.2-9

Oh, and the page for my new tracker can be found over here.

Fansub updates
BoneyJellyfish - 7/22/2005

Okay, I guess it's about time I get an update about my tracker situation. It looks the person that ran my tracker had some issues with his ISP, so he can't support it any more. Luckily, I'm being transfered to another tracker, so everything should be working in a couple of days. Of course, I'm going to gather all of my old seeders together to help me reseed everything, and I'm going to repost on mirkx and tokyotosho to get everything back up to speed.

Also, did anyone manage to see the new Anime Destiny website? I just about gouged my eyes out after looking at it. It seems the people that run that site agreed with me, and the whole thing was taken down almost as abruptly as it was put up.

Well, that's about it for Love Love updates, so now it's on to some REAL news: I just started another series, and the first episode will be out by, at the latest, next weekend. Like Love Love, the episodes aren't very long, and the entire series is only thirteen episodes.

And I can honestly say that there won't be any division over this series: it is by far the worst anime ever created.

As for review updates?
