Spike and the gang are back and at it again, but this time on the big screen! Does the big screen and the regular anime really have any difference? Yes, it does! Moving to the big screen means more money for production, which means a bigger and better Bebop. So before I even took peek at this movie I knew it was going to raise the bar for this anime, but I never could of imagined it would raise it so high. Every thing is four times better then the original series, yet still holds the essence of the anime quite well. Every thing from the sound to the fluid animations have all been raised to another level.

Cowboy Bebop - Knockin' on Heaven's Door story line is stupendous, unlike any other. It revolves around a man named Vincent who lost his past a long time ago, and how he holds a deadly new virus which he wants to release on to the world. When the government issues a $300,000,000 bounty on his head after his first attempt to spread the virus, the Bebop gang hurries to catch Vincent, but soon realizes that they are getting in to some thing much more deeper. The story also introduces another new character; a female named Electra. Electra, a feisty women who knows how to kick butt, and also wants to hunt down Vincent for personal reasons.

The movie is presented with some of the best and fluid animations I have ever seen in any anime or anime movie. The fight scenes prove this well, as they are fast and well coordinated, and look very cool to boot. Almost every action scene makes you hold you breath with excitement as it quickly amps up any mood the story is in. The sound is directly responsible for creating such hyped up action scenes, because it is superbly done. Cowboy Bebop - Knockin' on Heaven's Door has some of the best tunes I have ever heard any where. The sound fits in every scene, and never left me disappointed or bewildered.

Fans of the anime who think they won't find any thing new with this one are wrong fully mistaken, because along with the regular cast their are a hand full of other new and interesting characters who will fill that void of misconception. Cowboy Bebop - Knockin' on Heaven's Door will not disappoint any one (although the movie isn't really meant to be seen by young ones).

Finally, with a great story, tremendously good music score, fluid animation, awesome fight scenes, and great characters from an already established and popular anime series, Cowboy Bebop - Knockin' on Heaven's Door is one of the best anime turned movie ever. I can not possibly stress how important it is for fans of the anime to see this movie. Even if your not a fan of the series, I still would strongly recommend you see this movie.

Even after never seeing a single episode of the series, I loved this movie. It was aired on TV [movie network] and I thought 'Eh, what the hell'. I loved the action and artwork, if the series is anything like this movie I'll definatly try and check it out. Can't get enough of Ed.

'It's a twisted sister!' :p

Okay, so I watched this again just so I could review it. Ahem. The parts of this movie I enjoyed most were: A) The music and animation; B) The fight scene at the end (god, how I love the fist fights!); and C) Ed. And, that pretty much sums it up. I felt like I was watching just another CB episode. The movie was BOTH disappointing AND refreshing to me in the way that it resolved nothing--changed nothing. It just...was. Good review but I didn't think it was flawless.

I thought this was an excellent movie. I REALLY loved that they were able to get the original voice cast together for the English version, because there was a lot of talk at the beginning that it might be a different cast. Everything about this movie rocked.
