Where did this show go wrong? It had such a promising start but it just seemed to lose all focus as soon as it reached episode three. Then we are treated to the same exact thing every episode until we reach episode 15. At that point they just make a clean slate and seem to start all over because by then there have been so many plot holes and loose ends created that keeping up just becomes a chore. Nevermind the fact that nothing that transpires between episodes 3 and 15 don't make any sense whatsoever.

Then at episode 15 we're treated with the beginnings of a story that doesn't really have a resolution. The arc just ends and we're treated to an ending that makes just as much sense as the rest of the series: none. Maybe I missed something, or maybe I'm just thinking too much into this. Or maybe, just maybe it's because for the first 15 episodes the crew that works on the show changes. Yes, there's a new crew every episode that apparently have their own ideas of how to work the show.

The show does have a few things going for it, though. It has fantastic artwork and music, and there's no way you can predict what's going to happen next in the show. There are a few good characters throughout the show, but those are just Dark, Krad, Riku and Daisuke. All of the other ones are so incredibly annoying and shallow that they seem to serve no purpose than to just take up space. However, once the show hits around episode 20 all of the badly designed characters fade away and aren't really mentioned again.

The manga that this show is based on, also titled D.N.Angel, is very good. It's mainly a love triangle story centered around Daisuke and Dark. Fortunately for us, that's pretty much what the anime is about and thankfully it does it quite well in the end. Unfortunately, by the time the series actually develops some characters, it's a little too late.

Likes - Interesting characters; good music and animation
Dislikes - Horrendous story without focus; goes nowhere and proud of it; Corniest. Ending. EVER!

I purchase the first volume in DVD.And I most say it wasend that bad.I thougt I have wasted my money. But it gave me a big surprised it wasend that bad at all pretty cool anime like the music, the characters were great the story....good but it could get better in the progress.Either way I recomend D.N.Angel for the girls that are looking for a romantic anime with the bad guy atitude on it.Hope you like it ^_~
