Slayers Gorgeous is one of the few Slayers features to keep me laughing almost the entire way through, and it's easily the funniest of the Slayers movies (with a possible bit of competition from Slayers Premium). I was laughing at nearly every joke made about the relationship between the father and daughter and almost everything regarding Lina Inverse as well.

Unfortunately, Slayers Gorgeous progressed almost identically to every other Slayers movie: Lina and Naga approach a small village and stuff their faces in a local inn. Something gets destroyed and they somehow get separated, then in the end of the movie they fight each other and Naga will most likely lose. Slayers Gorgeous is no exception to this stale formula, and it really hampers the otherwise great comedy which is featured in the movie.

Also, unlike the other Slayers movies there really isn't a lot of character development in this one. The characters are almost exactly the same in the end as when we meet them in the beginning. However, if you just want to watch a Slayers movie and comedy is your goal (and you can stand Naga's hyena-like cackle), then Slayers Gorgeous is definitely the Slayers movie that you should see.
